My ancestor, Martin Thess (b. 1805 Gakova), married Katharina Faller (b. 1812) on 13 Nov 1827 in Kolut and they later moved to Katymar (http://www.dvelten.net/vaf-o/p872.htm#i8718 ). The Kolut church marriage record does not list parents of either spouse. I bought Jakob Schuy's new Kolut book, which covers the earlier period 1760-1825. This period does not cover the marriage in 1827 but I hoped it might have Katharina's birth and family. Lots of Faller families but nothing matching Katharina's info. The Katymar book by Joseph Pahl has the Martin Thess family but no information on Katharina's parents. I assume the other Kolut book covering 1826 on does not have information on her family or Joseph Pahl would have used that info in his book.
