I have found your posts very interesting and useful for the margert-logel-grunzweig branch of my husband's family. I am absolute stuck, however, trying to find any reliable information regarding the Koeppl, Koppl or Köppl branch. I understand that a Georg Koeppl or George Koeppl born in 1905 emigrated to US and married a Helene Margert in the US. Georg's father is listed as Christoph on the ship manifest, but Christoph is not listed as a passenger. I can find no birth records, death records, marriage records for Christoph or any variation of that name. Family information is scarce but suggests that the Koeppls lived in Bavaria near Teisnach. I apologize that this is not a Banat location, but I am asking for anyone's assistance in identifying additional information regarding Christoph Koppl. Thank you. Gina Krehbiel Koeppl
