A brick wall cracked but only to show another behind it. My Toth family came from Palanka. I found only found 4 births to Joannes Toth and Magdolena Szeghi. Searching other cities I found the marriage of Joannes Toth and Magdalena in Temerin just a year before the first birth. He was a widower 38 (Francisca Varga) and she a widow 31(Josephi Csecne). The handwriting leaves a lot to be desired so the spelling is questionable. Looks like they moved to Palanka right after the wedding. Although there are a lot of Toths in Temerin I don't see any for Joannes and Francisca. Would there be a book that shows TOTH in TEMERIN? There is a family of Toth's currently living near Palanka. I would love to find the relationship. I know it is not through the four I found in Palanka. Marlene
