Hello All.... I am looking to start a discussion forum for those who have filed for restitution from the Republic of Serbia. This could be in English or German. We could share successes, problems, road blocks, heart aches, and advice which would benefit all involved. I have had my own difficulties and I feel that talking to those who might share my experiences would be very helpful. We are not, and should not, be alone in this endeavor. Please consider joining me. It there is an interest.... I will send details as to where we can do this in a smaller group. I could use advice and a shoulder to cry on. My parents filed for restitution in 1974 from Canada. They owned farmland, a vineyard and a house in Ridica. Their request was denied by the Republic of Yugoslavia. They didn't file an appeal or apply again.
