I go back and found my mom's entry to the USA in NYC. I am stuck in Werschetz, Yugoslavia. I found out from my cousin that my Grandfather is buried in Austria. I remember my mom telling me he died in the war. I looked up online and Yugoslavia doesn't have the census for the time my mom and family living in Yugoslavia. I am thinking about the town's Catholic Church. But they are not online. Is there any place where I can find information on my mother's family. My grandfather was in Chicago before 1923(when my uncle was born.) I don't know how long he was here. He worked as a blacksmith. I am also looking for my father's side of the family. He is from Weissekirchen Bela Crkva. His mother is buried here with him. Maybe I can trace him like my mother's family. Suggestions would be helpful. My other Austrian family don't respond to my letters and email. Anything could help.
