My father’s name was Anton Albert Huber, born December 10, 1911 in Pike, NH. USA. His Father’s name was Anton Huber. My father’s mother was Philippina Huber, maiden name Juhn. They were Lutheran. Anton, my grandfather, came here (Ellis Island) from N Banovci on the ship, Kaiserin Auguste Victoria, the arrival date was Aug. 31, 1907. His wife Philippina Huber first arrived on Nov. 09, 1909. Her ship was Ultonia. Note: her first name was spelled incorrectly on the manifest as Filpina. Her address on this travel was Damores, Hungary. She arrived with her son Heinrich 4 and daughter Elisabeth 3. She had to return with Heinrich because he was sick. Although it shows hospital discharged on the manifest. She returned to Ellis Island with her sister Katarina Juhn on Jan 26, 1910 and moved to Pike, NH. They later settled in Holyoke, Mass. and are in the census there from 1910 to 1930. Her last known address in Hungary was in N Banovci, so I am assuming that the mention of Damores, Hungary may have been incorrect. I would like to know my grandfather and grandmother’s parents names and any information that could be found on them and their ancestors.
