    3. For Roman Catholic Church parish in Jasenovo and Češko selo the records are now either in state archive or in the parish from which the former filial village parishes are administered. For Roman Catholic church vital records you should contact: - Zrenjanin diocese ( zrenjaniska biskupija) and parish priest. KIRÁLY TIBOR Miletićeva 5. 26340 Bela Crkva Tel.: (013) 853-001 If you contact the priest do that in Serbian or even better in Hungarian ( his mother tongue) and limit your questions to asking about one specific ancestral record at a time. Consider a small donation to the church because it is customary. - Historical archive Bela Crkva ( Istorijski arhiv Bela Crkva): http://www.arhivbc.rs/index.php/yu/kontakt Queries to historical archives must be submitted in official request for information format. Request form for transcript of birth records for Bela Crkva archive: http://www.arhivbc.rs/images/dokumenta/Zahtev-Rodjeni.pdf Requests for documents can be submitted via email or mailed to them. You will also have to pay for each such submitted look up request in advance, regardless of whether they have the information or not - that is why you should try checking whether they have the records you need first. - Civil vital records for people born after cca 1880 are still located in municipal offices in most cases. You can obtain official certificate if you know the names of parents and exact location of birth and birth date but you will need a mailing address in Serbia and someone with Serbian ID number to order it for you. There is no online ordering format for submitting requests for birth and other certificates based on civil vital records from Bela Crkva municipality, and you have to contact the municipal office and clerk for the village directly via telephone: http://belacrkva.rs/opstinske-sluzbe/ - There is no evidence in period records which would suggest that family Wertheim from Češko selo / Chehfalva was Jewish at the time when your ancestors were born. There were several branches of Jewish Wertheim families though living in other parts of former Yugoslavia at the time, and you will find information on them in Holocaust databases and official Victims of War 1941-1945 census.
