To all, sorry coming into this late, Joe knows how I feel about some of his comments and as far as posting to the list - I would be the guilty party here as I've tried to encourage everyone to be open with their comments so others can learn - However, I agree with Jody (and Henry and Rose) that some things have gone above and beyond and if Joe does not feel he is Donauschwaben or Danube Swabian - then he belongs somewhere else. I want people to debate different opinions and hash things out, but this thing has truly gotten to be too much and a little too filled with anger and hate (I am talking with you Joe) and I really tried to stress being kind and considerate and that means respecting others on this mail list. Hi there Joseph, First of all, the Donauschwaben have absolutely NOTHING to do with the holocaust. You had made reference in your first post on this subject title to the "Drang nach Austen". which means the way to the east or the invasion to the east. And then you are mentioning Weimar and then you jumped to the Nazi. I tell you again, that has nothing to do with the Donauschwaben. Are you sir, suggesting the Donauschwaben participated in the holocaust? The anser is absolutely not. They had nothing to do with that. And why you are bringing it up is very puzzling sir.
