@at individuals from the list who expressed their fear and concern for the fate of vital records in Serbia because of the devastating Balkan Flood: I am happy to inform you that all vital records in Serbia are fine since vital records that are stored in municipal offices in Serbia have been since long time ago backed up in both paper format and digitally and in case than anything did happen to them can be researched in archives and central municipal branches. There is also more than one million people evacuated and displaced regionally by these floods who have lost their homes and livelihoods and everything. Thanks to unprecedented solidarity of kind people from around the world who expressed their concern for fate of these people, where possible, the efforts of clean up are underway and humanitarian help to accomodate, feed and clean victims of the flood has been poring in. Biggest concern at the moment are lack of medical materials and hygiene products and disinfectants.
