    1. [DVHH] Re Rehm in Kovaci (aka Kowatscchi, Temeskovaci, Covaci)
    2. Linda Bautz McKenna
    3. diana, I forgot to mention that Kowatschi is the German name of the village. Under Hungarian rule it was Temeskovaci often abbreviated as Kovaci and Covaci. As to the birthdate, often they may be off by a day or more....my grandmother's actually lists her baptism date two days after her birth as her birthdate. I suppose it depends on where the info was taken from...civil or church records. Also Johann had two half siblings from his father's 1st marriage. Maria b 09.06.1866 Kow. d. 26.08.1874 Kow Georg b. 28.08.1860 Kow d 15.19.1860 Kow. If this is your Johann...I have his parents' mother and father's name too. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diana" <diana@villaflorida.co.uk> To: <schdan2@sasktel.net>; "DVHH mail list" <donauschwaben-villages@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2014 5:21 PM Subject: [DVHH] REHM in Grabatz? > Hi Dana, > > I've checked all the REHM names in Grabatz and I'm afraid there are no > matches for your ancestors.
