    2. If your family does not have all the pages of the naturalization papers, including the one I found had the most important info, the Declaration of Intent, copies of all are available.   They will be at the County offices of the state where they were residing when the application for citizenship was made. I had to do my own physical search through alphabetical file cards there in order to find the date and number of the application. The clerks then can then give you precise official printouts of all these pages at a nominal fee.     My mother's siblings were born in different towns, some in the Banat, and the younger here in the States. I then give my cousins copies to help them in their searches. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

I am not sure what is on John's nat. papers, I know on my families final papers, which are the Declaration of Intention it says the birth town, country, birth date, wife if married and children if any. Also your grandmother would have her own papers if she became a citizen. There are two or three sets of papers to become a citizen, so maybe you don't have the final ones, I don't remember what the others have on them. Its just a thought. I got my info on the Latter Days family site. I am so jealous that you are going. Hope you find what you are looking for, do you have any info on your ggrandparents? sometimes you need to work from them, especially when the others came to the USA. You also might find info in the marriage papers from the church, many times they tell tell parents names and where born. Sometimes you get lucky and get some info from the census. Hope this was some help, any question feel free to ask. Enjoy your trip for the both of us. She was born March 4, 1880 in Hatzfeld, Hungary (I believe). I have also found a passenger list that lists an Anna Genser from Orzyfalva, but this is new to me. Anna came to the US in 1906. I am planning a trip to Hungary, Romania and Germany this July and I would like to visit her birthplace. She married John Schwarz in 1910 in Cincinnati OH, USA. John's Naturalizationship paperwork show he was from Yugoslavia. I am not sure where to start searching for him. Any help is much appreciated.
