Hello Elizabeth, Two of the names you listed are familiar to me, though not in the villages you mention. Those names are WELDI & VEGER. They are large, old families in the town of Ruma in Syrmia, now part of Vojvodina in Serbia. The original immigrants arrived in Ruma from Tolna, Comitat Tolna, Hungary round about 1764. I have not yet been able to discover their origins prior to about 1725, when the Tolna church books begin. Perhaps your WELDIs and VEGERs also came from Tolna. The Tolna church books are online at FamilySearch (I have not made my way all the way through them).
