Susanne Werner - My grandparents are also buried at St. Joseph’s cemetery in River Grove (outside Chicago). My grandfather, Peter Wegmann, was from Paulisch and my grandmother Katarina Hermle was from Glogowatz. I’d bet our families crossed paths more than once. My mother was born (1913) and grew up in Chicago. They lived on school street for a time and then Kenmore (Osgood) Avenue. My grandfather worked for Louis Glunz where he was a “laborer” but also a wine taster. I think he may have worked at a vineyard in Paulisch. Went to visit the wine store a few years ago in “Old Town” if I remember correctly. My mother and her siblings went to St. Terrsa’s In Chicago, but I think one of my relatives was married at St. Michael’s. I will look tomorrow for some of the names you have mentioned.
