A while back someone sent me a msg that possibly could help me find out some info on my grandmother, Caroline/Karoline Zircher. I think that person located birth or baptismal info. She suggested that I find someone with the Moritzfeld (?) FB. I've been searching for years now and cannot find out any information on her. I do know she came over to the states in the early 1900's. One census says 1905, one says 1907. I have located that exact name through immigration, however, that person listed is not my grandmother. That person's info tells me she married a Wm Maurer in NJ, bore his children, and died in NJ. Not the same Caroline Zircher although the birth year listed was exactly the same as my grandmother. I can trace my relative here in the states beginning with her marriage in St Louis, MO (1910) to my grandfather Frank Schuessler. I have copies of the license as well as all the census info that shows up on both of them. My grandmother passed away when I was in the 6th grade and is buried in St Louis. Yet in all my searches I cannot locate any information prior to that marriage. I'd like to find out where she came from. Various census shows Romania, Serbia, and I think Yugoslavia. (Don't recall exactly now.) I always thought she was from Hungary, like my grandfather. Her death certificate states her father as Josef Zircher. And that supposedly is the true spelling of the name. If anyone out there can help me locate add'l info on Caroline Zircher, my family would greatly appreciate it. We think she had a brother but have no name or info on him. Mother was listed as unknown. I have all sorts of info on my grandfather's ancestors, but nothing on my grandmother. I would welcome any assistance from anyone out there. I'm 69 yrs old and hope to find out her ancestry before I leave this earth. I welcome any possible info that will help me 'connect the dots.' Thank you to all that try! Sharon
