Would anyone know whether Hodschag church records were kept at another location nearby before 1826? I want to review a birth record from 1759 that’s listed in both the Hodschag FBs, but FamilySearch doesn’t go back far enough. Thanks, Linda
Linda, The archive of the bishop in Kalocsa has older church books that start in 1759. Youn could register against a fee there but if you only want to see one single record I could look it up for you and send you a copy. Gabrielle Am Montag, 4. Thank you, Gabrielle, that’s very kind of you! If you wouldn’t mind, this is the record I’m interested in: Johann Jakob SOHL, born 15 July 1759, son of Friedrich SOHL and Katharina Thanks, Linda On Feb 6, 2019, at 5:25 AM, Da Nube via DONAUSCHWABEN-VILLAGES <donauschwaben-villages@rootsweb.com> wrote: > Linda, > The archive of the bishop in Kalocsa has older church books that start in 1759.
