All the following families lived in Tscherwenka, Batschka: BECKER, KLIPPEL (or KNIPPEL), JUDT, WERTH, MUNTZ, KERN, DUNKEL, LITZENBERGER, SCHLARB, FRIEDMANN, PETER, SIMON, ESCHENAUER, BINGEL, SCHWARTZ and BRUCKNER. This information came from Angela Hefner's "Tscherwenka Familienbuch", except for the surname KNIPPEL which my father told me was his grandmother's maiden name. Hello Judy, The Klipfel/Knipf/Knipl surname also appears in Kolut which is in the Batschka. According to Jakob Schuy who produced the Kolut Family Book 1760-1825 this family originated in Affenthal. Spelling is close to Klippel/Knippel.
