Hello I am trying to find additional information on the siblings of Christoph Johann WERSCHING (usually just known as Johann). He was born 19 Dec 1896 in Macedonia. Son of Vinzenz Wersching and Maria Gerhardt. Married Anna KLEEFASS in Rudna in 1922 and lived in Temeswar (Timisoara). Following is the information I have located so far in using the Familienbuchs for Dolatz, Johannisfeld, Mailat, Tschakowa, Tschawosch, Ulmbach-Neupetsch. Known siblings were: 1. WERSCHING Janos - born 30 Aug 1883, died 05 Dec 1883 in Monostor, Arad. 2. WERSCHING Rudolf - born 16 Jan 1886 in Monostor, Arad. Date of death about July 1911? Married: Barbara WOHLSEIN (born 06 July 1887 in Giulwes). She moved to Philadelphia after Rudolf’s death. Children: Rudolf Anton - born 15 July 1911 in Tschakowa. Rudolf Anton may have died in infancy because there is no record that he accompanied his mother to America. I have not been able to confirm if he died for certain or where. 3. WERSCHING Katharina - born 14 Oct 1891 in Macedonia. Date & location of death unknown. Married: Johann SCHUMMER - born 31 May 1884 in Tschakowa. Marriage June 1911 in Wojteg. Children: Georg Schummer - born 16 Dec 1912 in Wojteg Barbara Schummer - born 17 Aug 1914 in Wojteg. 4. WERSCHING Andreas - born 18 Sept 1893 in Macedonia. Date & location of death unknown. Married: Katharina SCHAUBERGER - born 17 Nov 1897 in Maur bei Wien. Date & location of death unknown. Marriage 25 May 1919 in Tschakowa. Children: Anton Wersching - born 09 Feb 1920 in Tschakowa. 5. WERSCHING Maria - born 18 July 1899 in Macedonia. Date & location of death unknown. Marriage: unknown Children: unknown. Note: It seems likely that these families may have moved away from Tschakowa because there are no additional details in the Tschakowa familienbuch. Since Christoph Johann Wersching moved to Temeswar to work, there is a good possibility that other family members may have done the same but this is only speculation. Any information to fill in the missing pieces is appreciated. David
