    3. KISCHKER/KISKER/KLEINKER, Batschka, Hungary (now Serbia) Dietrich, Evangelich, Lutheran, arrived, likely with parents 1786. Left Kischker for Neuburg, Odessa, South Russia (Now Ukriane) 1806. Johann Dietrich, b. 1769, wife Katharina b. 1773/4, Sons: Jakob b. 1793, Peter, b. about 1806 Daughter: Katharina b 1800 This is still a huge brickwall! No records of their existance in Kischker, other than KB Jakob's death record in Neuburg, which says he was born 1793 in Kisker, Ungarn. There two known Dietrich families in Kischker: Michael Dietrich b 1732 in Hirschfeld, Pflaz and Valentin Dietrich from Marienthal, Pflaz The Michael Dietrich family is mentioned in a couple books about Kischker, but said to have left at some point. He is also recorded as having passed though Vienna for Ksichker with a wife and two sons. One, Johann Burghard was born 1769 in Irmenach Pfalz. However, for what its worth, the name Burghard is never used in Neuburg, only Johann or Johannes. Is that important? Also this Burghard Dietrich seems to have married a Christina Querin (Catholic) in Kula. Again the given name doesn't math the Neuburg info,, though the age is close. I do know that the Querin family did live in Kischker, before moving to Kula. I recently found two DNA cousins, descendants of Peter Kreis and family, who also lived in Kischker at the same time as the Dietrich family, and also left in 1806 for Alexanderhilft, Odessa. I have found others that lived in Kischker that left for Odessa some are in the OFBs for Kischker, some are not. So, if anyone has information about Johann Dietrich or Christina Querin in any of the surrounding towns in the Batschka, I've love to hear form you! KInd regards, Kelly Dazet Salt Lake City, Ut.

    3. Kelly, The place to look for missing Kischker people is in the Altker records. Unless you've already done this I will try to look through my books and church records tomorrow. 3. Thank you Eve! I have looked through Altker-Chronik, by Dr Stegh, but I'll look at it again to see if I missed any clues. As I recall, many of the same Dietrichs from the 2 kisker OFBs are listed. Don't have any church records or other books from Altker. 3. Hi Kelly, You are welcome, that would be the same book that I have and I looked at the church records I have for Altker and everything starts after the dates mentioned. I will keep looking as I have some Dietrichs in my line also. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good luck, Eve On Sun, Jan 20, 2019 at 1:45 PM Kelly Dazet <kellydazet@hotmail.com> wrote: > Thank you Eve! > > I have looked through Altker-Chronik, by Dr Stegh, but I'll look at it > again to see if I missed any clues.
