    3. Hello Tami, There a numerous sourses of information on the Dounauschaben emigrant to the Austria-Hungary Empire. Some of the them registered in Vienna and here is an card index available on familysearch.org. Also the Stader Samelwerk , the work of Kallbrunner and Wihlem and others. Kallbrunner lists several Kreisz who arrived earlier in the 1700s, so I assume they were Catholic and one Kreis who arrived in Kischker Batschka and was Lutheran. Given names of the listed Kreisz are Carl, Michael and Peter. Hope this helps. 3. Lin, The Hatzfeld FB does not list a previous husband.  As you probably know Susanna Tabar had another child, Margaretha *15.02.1900 HF and +23.03.1900 HF.  She is listed as daughter of an unknown father. 3. Hello Stephanie, Looking at Geogen, the most dense population of the surname Stoffel, is Rhine-Hunsrück Kries, Pfalz (Palatinate). In fact I'm researching my Dietrich family whom I hypothesize came from Hirshfeld, Hunsrück, Pflaz. There are Soffels that married Dietrichs in that town. Several of the Dietrich family emigrated to Hungary and to Galacia. Kischker in Hungary -- Landestreu in Galacia. They were Lutheran, however I see that Hatzfeld was Catholic. I cannot keep track of all the many Donauschaben villages, so its always helpful to state in your inquiries what faith your family was. Even Kischker which was Lutheran, had about 10 Catholic families when it was first founded, though they eventually left. Hirschfeld had both Catholic and Evangelich (Lutheran) churches. Anyway, this may not be useful information, but just FYI. https://legacy.stoepel.net/de/Default.aspx Geogen<https://legacy.stoepel.net/de/Default.aspx> Startseite; Beispiele; Geograph.
