    3. According to https://www.worldcat.org there are copies in the following libraries: Allen County Public Library, Fort Wayne, IN (this has a major genealogy library) Library of Congress, Washington, DC St Louis County Library, St Louis, MO Baldwin County Library Co-operative, Robertsdale, AL Family History Library, Salt Lake City, UT Possibly, you could borrow it with Inter-Library Loan (ILLO) or visit if you are close to one of these.  It doesn't appear to be digitized at the Family History Library. ------- Darlene http://www.dvhh.org/membership/associates.htm#D On 18-Mar-2019 3:46 PM, Joseph Bergmann via DONAUSCHWABEN-VILLAGES wrote: > The German Immigrants from Veszprém County, Hungary

    3. Thank you all for your assistance!  :))) Based on other info about my 6th-great-grandfather, Andreas Werbach, I believe this to be him based on his age at 1771 census, his 2nd marriage and his death.  All of those approximate to 1728.  Plus other info about the family.  Hope I find something more about him. Weird though, I don't think I've ever seen records that are this sparse - no child's name, no mother, not even a first name. ------- Darlene http://www.dvhh.org/membership/associates.htm#D On 18-Mar-2019 3:05 PM, Daniela Hieslmayr wrote: > Hello Darlene > > It says: d.(en) 27.ten läßt Veit Werbach ein Söhnlein > Spons: Andreaß Friedmüller > > d. 27.ten ‹> The 27th (May as in the entry above) > > Very strange that there is no information about the given name. 3. I'd be very interested in the card index at Familysearch.org. However, that is a huge site. Can you be a little more specific on how to find this specific card index? 2. Linda,   under number 20760 in the Hatzfeld book you find the following in the second line: vh K 03.02.1895 (ledig, ledig, TZ Mathias Hepp, Franz Konrad) that means: vh: they married ("verheiratet") K: in the church ("Kirche") ledig: first marriage for him, ledig : first marriage for her TZ: witnesses ("Trauzeugen")   so the priest wrote down that was not married before.   Hope this helps you to read the Hornung entries ;-) Anni   Gesendet: Donnerstag, 14. Kallbrunner lists several Kreisz who arrived earlier in the 1700s, so I assume they were Catholic and one Kreis who arrived in Kischker Batschka and was Lutheran. Given names of the listed Kreisz are Carl, Michael and Peter. > > Hope this helps. > > Kelly > > ________________________________ > From: Tami Ulreich via DONAUSCHWABEN-VILLAGES <donauschwaben-villages@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2019 2:58 PM > To: donauschwaben-villages@rootsweb.com > Cc: Tami Ulreich > Subject: [DVHH] Kreisz Surname > > Hello all!
