Does anyone have a connection to this line of Donaldson's or to a Rev. Alexander Donaldson D.D. who was the founder and principle of Elder Ridge Academy of Indiana County, PA. He wrote a book on this line called the Donaldson Family and Its connections. Alexander lived in the late 1800s (He was principle from 1847-1885) The John J. Donaldson mentioned below is supposed to be the son of a John Barr Donaldson who's father was Isaac and his father was named Isaac C. who's father was a Jacob but I have not received all the information on this part yet.
