Marr, Lucy Petit ca 1769 Petit, Lucy married 3 times 1)Patrick Donaldson 2) John Fleming 1735-1791(of Flemingsburg,Fleming Co Ky) 3) James Hazilrigg married Oct 30,1793 Clard Co Marr Reg and Draper Mss 12cc146 Lucy and Patrick had six daughter and 2 sons,as noted when she married John Fleming Named in Draper Papers were John Donaldson b Jan 9,1769 D Aug 24,1829 Mary Donaldson who married Rev.John Craig Rebecca Donaldson who married Thomas Jones Elizabeth Donaldson who married Benjamin Cushman Patrick was killed by Indians at Strode's Station. The difficulty in Doanldsons is the John Donaldsons,in my limited experience as there is a Col John, a Lt Col John,Capt John and all are of fame in early times,which sometimes is from promotion,sometimes father and son.The Donaldsons who went to Tenn. seem to be well documented there,may be same origin as Ky Donaldsons as the famed John spent time in Eastern Ky also.
