Looking for my great grandfather James Donaldson married to Artie McDonald around 1880. Their children were William or John, Luther, Minnie and Bessie and a half sister Marie. Artie Donaldson died in childbirth, the children were put in foster homes and James Donaldson left with the oldest son and wasn't heard from again. The family thinks he might have gone to Oklahoma. Any information on Donaldson's in the Johnson County, MO area at that time would be helpful. Jeannine Harber
