    3. Am new to the Donaldson site and would like to see what might be out there on three Donaldsons I have in my files. First: I have a Janet Donaldson, born abt 1812 in Arbuthnot, Kincardine, Scotland, married Robert Lockhart, born about 1810 also in Arbuthnot. Five children born: Isabella Lockhart b. 10/27/1835 Lucy Lockhart b. 5/10/1841 Robert Lockhart, Jr.b. abt 1845 Dunfirmline, Scotland d. Yonkers, NY Carrie Lockhart b. abt 1847 Elizabeth Wallace Lockhart b. 4/2/1850 m. William Bruce Robert Lockhart Jr. is probably the father of my great grandmother Lily Lockhart. From what I have been able to find on the family, he migrated to Yonkers, Westchester Co., which is where Lily, my great grandmother, was born. Would like to find anyone who might know anything about this Donaldson family and their connection with the Lockhart family. Second: I have two Donaldson girls who are possibly sisters, who married two Hillicker brothers and were living in Westchester Co., NY. Minerva Donaldson b. abt 1815 m. Nelson Hillicker children born: Sidney, Arthur, Nelson, Jr., Helen, Ann Elizabeth, Julia, Matilda and Alexander Hillicker (all born c. 1843-1857) Elizabeth Donaldson b. abt 1819 m. Isaac Hillicker children born: Theodore, Isaac, Jr. John Ander, Hannah, Harriet, Edgar, Julia, and Eleanor Hillicker (all born c. 1840-1854) I believe that another great grandmother of mine, a Harriet Hillicker is connected to one of these lines, or possibly a brother of one of these gentlemen, but would like to know more about the Donaldson girls. If anyone knows of these two girls, and their families and if there is any chance that they are connected with Janet Donaldson, shown above, I would really appreciate hearing from you. All these families were living in the Westchester Co., area of New York, in the mid 1800's, and it would look like they could all be connected in some way. Anything anyone could offer to find the connection, if there is one, or who their parents were, I would be very appreciative. Thanks for anything anyone can offer. Holly M. Snead snead@bellsouth.net
