Bettye, I wish I could connect my Donalsons to someone. My James Donalson was born 1798 in Hawkins Co., Tennesse--married Nancy Vaughan b. Va, --both died and are buried in Ladonia, Fannin Co., TX. Their children spelled their names in various ways--Donalson, Donelson, Donaldson, etc. I am told the Kansas obituary of their son, Samuel, says this family was related to Rachel Donelson, spouse of President Andrew Jackson. I'm looking for proof of this. Who are James Donalson's parents and siblings? Thank you!
