Seeking information about the parents of Robert Donalson who spelled his name most of the time without the "d", but also spelled it Donelson. According to his Rev. War pension he was born 10 January 1765 in Orange Co.,NC. He lived in Orange Co. until about 1790 when he moved to Tennessee, living in Davidson Co., Sumner Co., Rutherford Co before finally settling in Williamson Co., about 1806 or 1807. He married Margaret (Peggy) Ferris 25 Dec. 1806 in Williamson Co., TN. According to his wife's pension application he died 15 June 1837 in Williamson Co.
