Hi, I am researching the DONALDSON family of Peebleshire, Peebleshire Co. Scotland. Andrew Donaldson and wife Janet Kerr. Their daughter Catherine maried Gideon Hood, also of Peeblshire 14 July 1854, shortly after arriving in Ontario, Canada. Catherine was born in the early 1830s. She had a brother Andrew also. I need assistance in finding the parentage of Andrew Donaldson and Janet Kerr. Catherine Donaldson Hood died in California in 1912. Any and all help appreciated. Bob Smith
