Hi there, I am new to this list, and I am searching for any info regarding my earliest known Donaldson ancestor, Joseph L. Donaldson. A vintner by profession, apparently, he married Mary Jane Williams, 11 February 1833 at Trinity Church, New York, New York, U.S.A. Their son, Theodore Donaldson was born 1834 at Long Island, New York, U.S.A. Theodore joined the Christy Minstrels, and went on tour to Europe. In Ireland he married Elizabeth Anna Baldwin, 10 September 1868 at St. George's, Dublin, Ireland. Theodore died 22 January 1904 at Dublin, Ireland. Elizabeth Anna Baldwin (b. 28 March 1843, d. 1 November 1914 at Dublin, Ireland) was the daughter of a doctor at the Rotunda hospital in Dublin, where there was a Variety Theatre, The Rotunda Theatre.
