Does anyone out there have any information about Joseph Wallace Donaldson born 1817 in South Carolina and died sometime after 1870 in I think Mississippi. He married Ruth A. Hill born 1820 in South Carolina and also died sometime after 1870. There were 10 children that I am aware of: daughter M.J. born 1847 in South Carolina, son William Andrew born 1849 in Tishomingo County, Miss & died Nov 25, 1929 in Spring Hill, Miss, a son James H. born April 28, 1851 in Tishomingo County, Miss & died Feb 15, 1937 in Tishomingo, daughter J.L. born 1853 in Mississippi, daughter Sally E. born 1855 Miss & died in Texas, Joseph F. Donaldson born 1857 in Miss & died in Okl, daughter Louise V. born 1859 in Miss & died in Miss, daughter Emma E. born 1862 in Miss & died in Texas, and last Thomas (or Thadeous) Espa born Dec 8, 1866 in Itawambi County, Miss & died Feb 1, 1959 in DeQueen, Ark. I am trying to determine the ancestors of the father Joseph Wallace & his wife Ruth. Also the second wife of Espa. They had two children together (we aren't sure they ever married) a son Sabaska Thadeous, and a daughter Gwendolyn. He was married to another woman (Martha Ann {Mattie} Tesseneer at the time these two children were born.
