Elizabeth was granddaughter of Moses Donaldson of PA Fort Wayne (IN) News, Jan. 18, 1877 Samuel McCurdy, father of A. R. McCurdy, died at the residence of his son, no. 38 Lavina street yesterday at the advanced age of 73. The funeral will take place tomorrow. Fort Wayne (IN) News, Oct. 23, 1888 Mrs. Elizabeth McCurdy, wife of the late Samuel McCurdy, died early this morning at the residence of her son, A. R. McCurdy, of 54 East Third Street. Mrs. McCurdy was born April 2, 1810, in the state of Pennsylvania. In the early part of her life she lived in the vicinity of Mansfield, Ohio, and for the last forty-six years has been a resident of Eel River township and vicinity, Ind. She was married August 4, 1828, and was the mother of eleven children. Her husband died in 1877, and olny six children survive her. The funeral will occur from the residence of her son, Wednesday morning, at 9 o'clock sharp, and Wesley Chapel at 1 o'clock p.m.
