    3. It doesn't appear to be one of my William Donaldson's because the earliest of my was born in Ireland some time after 1765 and died in 1814 (Bath Co. KY). Married and had 11 children. His son William was born in 1811 ( Bath Co. KY) and was married to Eliza Tackett. Died in 1881 (Bath Co. KY). These are the oldest William Donaldson's that I can find in my clan as far as we have gone back. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but thought you might be interested. 2. DONALD WILKERSON
    3. Hello Donaldson researchers, Does anyone have information about a William DONALDSON, b. 1804, either in KY or VA? There is sources both census and family records conflicting the state he was born at. But most all records have his birth year at 1804, give or take a year. He first married Elizabeth Thompson, had 4 children, Lucinda Jane, Sarah Ann, Joseph and Matilda F.; his second wife was Matilda Peery, daug. of Solomon Peery, which are my ancestors. William and Matilda had children: Solomon, Mattie, Mary, William, Elizabeth/Betty and Milly V. I decend from the son, William, who married Nancy Jane Harbit. I believe Andrew Cooper Donaldson who is also in Monroe County, MO is closely related to William, and possibly Robert Donaldson, however Robert was born in NC and Andrew C. was b. KY if census is correct. I tend to believe there is a connection with William (1804) to Madison Co. KY but I have not found proof. Family tales are that William is decended from Scotland or Shetland Islands, but that has not yet been proven also. Any suggestions? I have many decendants of William, but no ancestors for him. 3. I am looking for the family of Walter Donaldson. He was born in 1867 in MS, probably in one of the NE counties (at least one of his sisters lived in the Corinth area). His father's name may have been Wallace, and he was supposedly from Georgia, probably born ca. 1820. Walter's mother, or possibly Wallace's mother married her brother-in-law after her first husband died. This person's name is possibly Joseph (thus Joseph is probably Wallace's brother, but possibly his uncle - my source was a bit confused about generations). Walter was the youngest, or near youngest of a large family. He had a brother Robert who was killed in the civil war, so I guestimate that Wallace was married by 1840. He also had a brother named William and one named Joseph too. Walter goes to TX in the 1880s, and marries a woman whose last name is Tessner. By her he has a son named Thaddeus Sabaska. He later moves to De Queen AR with a group of people including members of the Floyd family; he marries a Mattie Floyd and moves to Antlers, in I.T. (OK), where he is working as a Baptist missionary. By Mattie, he has Gladis (who is a son), and Ola Mae (who later went by Patricia). Ola Mae is born in 1900. Walter bounces back and forth between Hugo OK and nearby parts and De Queen AR most of his life, with a brief stint in Mountain Air, NM during the 20s. He dies in 1959. Sue morgana@ghg.net
