Hello All I am looking for a Robert Donaldson who married a Ms. Whitley. These are the supposed parents of Cassandra and Susannah Donaldson. Cassandra and Susannah Donaldson married the same man, David Anderson. Cassandra d. abt 1833, and David married her sister Susannah Donaldson in Thomas Co. GA in 1834. I am looking for info on William Henry DONALDSON (b-18 Jan 1811, NY/ M-2nd-24 May 1844 Saline, Washtenaw, Michigan to Alevacy Cornelia ROUSE/d-aft 1850 Saline, Washtenaw, MI). They had a daughter, Caroline Minnie (Carrie), B-16 May 1846 Saline, Washtenaw, MI/M-Alfred Morse WEBSTER 28 Dec 1870 in Saline/D-14 Oct 1879 Bloomfield, Oakland, MI. Other children included: Alevacy Cornelia, b-aft 1849, MI/William Henry Jr. (b-aft 1849 MI)/Florence Bell (b-aft Jan 1850 MI). There was also a 1st wife for William Sr. but I don't know her name. Their daughter was Rosannah (b-bef 1844). Does anyone have this line or know of more siblings? I have William's parents as Abraham and Rebecca (ELLSWORTH) DONALDSON and need more info on them too. I just found Nathan and Luna (Hogle) DONALDSON in the 1861 Quebec census, Missisquoi county, parish of St. George de Clarenceville, parts of Foucault and Noyan. Nathan is listed as a fisherman, Church of England, Luna is a Wesleyan Methodist. Their children living with them are Clarissa, Minerva, Emily, Uziel, Nathan, Archibald, Mary A., Edwin all born in Lower Canada. Gary Donaldson

I want to remember Robert Donaldson of MS, who served in the confederate army and who died during the course of the war, I think in action. Haven't pinned his unit down yet, but he was probably the oldest brother of Walter Donaldson, my gggrandfather who later lived in OK around Antlers and Boswell, and who later died in De Queen AR in 1959. Can anyone help me with this--My Great, Great Uncle Charles B Donaldson was born in WV in July 1876. Info I have on him is as follows: *1880 Census says that he has a spinal disease and is either maimed, crippled, bedridden, or otherwise disabled. *1900 Census just says no occupation - no other physical notations. *1910 Census has him listed as "dd" (Deaf and Dumb) - no other physical notations. Each census has him listed with his parent(s). His father died in 1910 and his mother died between 1910 and 1920. I can not find him in the 1920 census. He doesn't seem to be listed (1920 census) with any of his siblings either. Does anyone have any ideas on (or know for sure) what could have happened to him. I figure state hospital in Weston after mother passed away, or a nursing home, etc? I would like to get as much info on him as possible but don't know where to look. BTW, haven't found his death certificate either. Thanks for the help. kelli
