The date is definitely February 26, 1816 and not 1810 as some sources apparently indicate. The last digit is a bit faint, but it falls between an entry for February 8, 1816, and March 14, 1816. In fact all the marriages on this page are 1816 and were apparently recorded in chronological order. This means Enoch could have been the one from Wayne County (Kentucky) who was married to Barsheba. Does anyone have any info on the James Nevill who married Marion (Maryan) Dodson on 20 Sep 1810 in Wayne County, Kentucky? This marriage record lists "Surety, Enoch Neville." -- Ryan D.
