It occurred to me the other day that if I found that book again, I'd look for Dorothy Durham's death under her second husband, Jeremiah Greenham, thus she would be listed as Dorothy Greenham at her death in these record books. I didn't look for any Roses and I'm not a Goad so I have no knowledge there. For those of you Dodsons puzzling over these Smoot and Durham names; Dorothy and William's daughter Mary married Thomas Dodson Sr. in 1710. You'll note that marriage is not mentioned here.
