Hi, I also have a connection, I think, to George & Margaret Dagord Dodson through their son George. There is some confusion on the George's, but our line appears to come from the Patrick/Pittsylvania George Dodson. I do know that I am a descendant of Rev George Dodson m Patrick Co Va to Martha Lockhart. They settled in Wayne Co Ky where George was ordained in the Baptist church. They moved ca 1828 to Boone/Hendricks Co IN near Zionsville, IN. George helped establish the Eagle Creek Baptist Church. George and Thomas Dodson are buried their. Martha Lockhart Dodson was living in Vermilion Co Il near Danville with her son Ruel and Mary Dickerson Dodson and children. Mary Dickerson also 70 b. Va were in the home.
