Hi folks, Need some confirmation here. In my DODSON line I have George DODSON, born 31 Oct 1702, his son David DODSON, born after 1740, David's son Asa DODSON, born 28 May 1780, and Asa's son Thomas DODSON, born 6 Feb 1812. George DODSON's wife was named Margaret DAGOOD. Asa DODSON's wife was named Nancy WOLVERTON. Thomas DODSON's wife was named Catherine Elizabeth GOAD. But for David DODSON's wife, I have Elizabeth DODSON. Is this correct? Did David DODSON and his wife really have the same last name? Or am I reading my records wrong? If they DID have the same last name, can anyone give me the descent/connection on where in the DODSON line she came from? Somebody familiar with the line please let me know.
