Betty, I'm a bit confused. Did your branch of the DODSONS come from PA or was it the Renick family? If The DODSONS of Renick were your distant cousins then there may be a connect as they were 1/4 of my family. If the DODSONS were From PA I would be interested in knowing about them as part of my Dodson line left VA and moved to PA. I have a few interesting notes on Renick that I will dig out for your husband and the next time I am there I will try to find him a Fire cap. Jack
