A marriage record exists for Winifred Dodson and David Lawson in Halifax Co VA m 12Oct1794 by the Rev Thomas Dodson. David Lawson and family appear on the 1810, 1820 , 1830, 1840 censuses of Stokes Co NC, Winifred appears in 1850 living with her oldest son. I have not been able to connect my Winifred with the other Dodson family in Halifax CO, can someone please help. I have posted this before with no responses.
