I've been sent information from a WFT entry that shows a first ancestor as Daniel Dodson b abt 1630 m Susanne; Children: John b abt 1654 d aft 1725 (no wife shown), Mary, Dorothy, Thomas, Susanne, William & David John b abt 1654-- Son Thomas Dodson b abt 1685 m Mary Prigg Children: John, Michael, Ann, Hanna, John William b Aug 1729,Richard b 1731, Thomas, James, Mary Joseph, Samuel, Esther Does this line ring any bells with anyone? I am particulary interested since I am a DoTson, and this line seems to have changed the Dodson to Dotson (before the Tennessee Dodson/Dotsons). In Egles PA notes, I found a record of the baptism of 3 of the children of Thomas and Mary Prigg Dodson, and the name of the father and children are shown as Dotson. I have found the DAR record of Thomas m Mary Prigg (same family), but they lump the Dodson/Dotson name together also in their groupings. Any help out there?
