I believed that George Dodson in Mason Co, KY who married Ellen Curtis was related to and maybe the son of Omar Dodson of Mason Co. But your list show that James was his father. It has been awhile since I researched this George, since I could not find him with a daughter Mary Jane. I had hoped to find my Mary Jane Dodson with this George Dodson in the 1850 census, but she was not there. He is the only George Dodson that I could find anywhere in the area. My Mary Jane was born ca 1838, so she is the right age to be his daughter, but PROOF is missing. Do you have any more information on this George Dodson? Also, I wondered why Marshall signed for Pamela Ellen Curtis to marry George instead of her father. Was he already gone?
