    3. Hi, I mentioned earlier that I have 3 George Dodsons all in a row originating from VA. My most recent George Dodson married Martha Lockhart in Patrick Co VA about 1796. Went to Wayne Co KY and on to Boone Co In about 1828. Martha was in Vermilion Co IL on 1850 census. His father was also George Dodson--there were several. Their children were: Elizabeth, Nancy, Margaret, Irena, George, Martha, Ruel, John, Mary, Judah, Robert, and Jemima, this from an article by Kenneth Dodson. George was ordained a Baptist minister in Wayne Co Ky. He was instrumental in organizing the Eagle Creek Baptist Church in Boone Co IN. A list of cemetery readings on file at Sullivan Museum,Zionsville IN lists Dodson at Eagle Cemetery: Rev George--minister of the Regular Batist Church; d 9/8/1845(4?), age about 70 yrs. Thomas; d 6/21/1883; age 86/2/26. Benjamin D. son of Thomas & mary d 12/24/183(?)6; age 6/1/0; James, son or Robt & Mary, b. 1/4/1854; d. 4/5/1874; age 20/3/5; Bethana, dau. of Robt & Mary, b. 1/2/1863; age ?/10/4; Infant daughter; or Robt & Mary; d 12/27/1856; Mary, wife of Robert dodson, d 12/27/1888(?); age 71/7/0; Robert, d 10/12/1892; age 74/4/0; Polly, wife of Thamas Dodson, d 8/15/1872; age 75/5/12. HHope that this is of some interest to another Dodson researcher. Some of these Dodsons eventually came to Vermilion Co IL and some stayed there.
