Does anyone know any more about my ancestor William Dodson, born about 1738, son of Thomas Jr. and Elizabeth Rose Dodson? He was a Baptist preacher, North Carolina, wife unknown, thought to have been a Rev. War soldier. Father of my ancestor, Simon Dotson, who came to Scott County Virginia and was married to Phoebe Hollinsworth. Their son, William (b.1803) married Cecelia P. Horton and settled on Bold Camp of Pound, Virginia.
