This was on the Wolverton List, but since it also concerns Dodsons, I thought it should also be sent to the Dodson List. This also happens to be my direct line as I am a direct descendant of Nancy Artemisia (Woolverton) Littlefield (1829 TN - 1926 TN). We are related through her mother, Agatha Williams (1802-1874) and her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Hanks (1782-1833). Elizabeth's mother was Agatha Dodson (1749-1830), daughter of Thomas "Second Fork" Dodson III (1728-1811). Second Fork's father, Thomas Dodson, Jr. (1702-1784), was the son of my g8-father, Thomas Dodson, Sr. (1681-1740). I also have a few other connections to Woolvertons through marriages: James Matthew Woolverton is the hushand of my 4th counsin, 4 times removed; Mary "Polly" Woolverton is the wife of my 3rd counsin, 5 times removed; and Nancy Woolverton is the wife of my 2nd cousin, 6 times removed and 3rd cousin, 5 times removed.
