Hi Brenda, I show this William DODSON of yours, son of Rev Thomas DODSON Junior and wife Elizabeth ROSE in my database. He is also listed as being a Reverend, born Abt 1738 in North Carolina and died 6 Mar 1832 in Iredell County, North Carolina. I have him listed with two different wives; Winnifred JOHNSTON, married 30 June 1762, and Tabitha HENDRICK, married 19 July 1794. My database takes his line back five more generations in the DODSON line to where everybody argues. I have no children listed for him.
