My Dotson/Dodsons came from VA. to Grainger Co.,TN. then to Polk/Cedar Co., Mo by 1860. I don't have any info on John's brothers, but Benjamin could have been a son of one of them. John was born in 1820 so Benjamin could have been a nephew.
