Mike, I am researching a Dodson from Craighead County, Ark also. My great grandmother was a Dodson, Elizabeth Jane Dodson m Andrew Jackson Patterson. Her mother was Becky Bishop m first a Yarbrough and he was killed in Civil War, then she married a Dodson, he died, then she married a Carrouthers. I believe the Dodson man she married was John Dodson, but have not proven it yet. Any of these names familiar? Becky
