Greetings, Over on the Neville line we're experimenting with sending maps over e-mail. I have a couple maps pertinent to the Dodson family and would be happy to send them as well to you. They are Fauquier County 1759 (rivers and runs), Pittsylvania/Halifax County about the time of the Revolution (Birch Creek is in the southeast corner of Pittsylvania running into Halifax--that's where the Thomas Dodsons lived) and a couple early Virginia maps mostly delineating where the counties were in, say, 1668. To access them (and I'm no Bill Gates, computer wizard), you download the file and then pull it up in something that will read graphics, Microsoft Works in our case. The maps printed out just fine and with Microsoft Works we were even able to adjust the size. I can't advise beyond these directions, however, so proceed with caution!
