    3. I haven't seen the book by Rev. Lucas. The book on the DODSONs of North Farnham Parish, VA isn't just on southern lines. It begins with Charles, Sr. but branches out all over the states. I just lifted this off of my web page so ignore the numbers and + signs. (+ indicates ancestors that I have already put on my web page.) Book begins with Charles, Sr, in North Farnham Parish, VA. Tells about his children, who they married, their children, where they moved to, gives sources for information, where to locate wills and other documents. Gives mililtary history for some. Quotes census records. Easy enough to send away and get copies of records since book refers to Volume and Page no. for documents. Index has the states as well as the names listed. If you know they were in Ohio, you can look under Ohio, then the county and find where to locate copies of the records. Parts of deeds and wills are already in the book. I haven't counted the states to see if all 50 are covered but it sure looks that way. Even Hawaii is in the index.
