I am also researching an ancestor, Thomas DodsonII, who served 6 yrs. in the Revolutionary War. First from the fall of1775 to the fall of 1778. Second time from the fall of 1778 to the fall of 1781. During the first enlistment he was in the Second Pa. Regiment under Colonial Anthony Wayne and Captain Caleb North and the 2nd enlistment he was in the 5th Pa. Regiment under Colonel Johnson and Captain John Christie. He fought in the battles of Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth. He was born Nov.25,1747 in Chester Co., Pa. to Thomas DodsonI and Mary Prigg -married to Mahitabel Bixby -died Apr.10,1825 and is buried in Shenadoah Co.,Virginia. Applied for his pension in Virginia on May 25,1818 and received it. Karen Wasson
