    3. Michelle, Regarding the two Thomas Dodsons you mention and their furnishing supplies to the Rev. army in Halifax Co., VA. I'll need to look over the DAR applications I have in my files (they are boxed away at present) to see what they list. I was thinking that Thomas Dodson III (2nd Fork) also signed an oath of allegiance in Pittsylvania Co. But I think Rev. Thomas Dodson, his father, did furnish supplies. But I didn't remember it being in Halifax County, but that is right next door to Pittsylvania Co. I'll check the DAR applications I have. Also the Public Service Claims for all of Virginia are in book form now. A copy is in the local library here. It includes these court record booklets that you quoted from. S. E. Lucas's book on the Dodsons says there were several Thomas Dodsons living at the same time in that area of Virginia. I'll check my records and get back with you. Sincerely, Glenn Gohr ggohr01@mail.orion.org
